Grant Burge
Grant Burge is a fifth-generation Barossan vigneron and winemaker, who throughout his career has been one of the most respected and innovative forces in the Australian wine industry. Grant Burge Wines was formed in 1988 by Grant and his wife, Helen, however the Burge family and their long association with winemaking in the Barossa can be traced back to March 1855. Grant Burge now carries the winemaking tradition into the 21st century. Grant Burge is based on the banks of Jacobs Creek, in the heart of the Barossa Valley. The Cellars are one of the most successful and popular in the area, and have together with the wines has been awarded many accolades. Currently, Grant Burge Wines is considered a medium-sized Australian wine company, producing around 350,000 cases a year, and is still proudly family owned.
